Keep it natural e. V. is the professional organisation of NHC hoof practitioners in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and other european countries.
Goals and tasks of the association
Goals and tasks of the association are to support knowledge sharing and the spreading of new findings in the area of natural hoofcare to actively help towards animal protection.
We stand up for:
- Natural Hoofcare
- Appropriate horse nutrition and horse keeping, especially following the aspects of the "Paddock Trail" concept
- Handling animals with awareness
- Governmental acceptance of hoof practitioners
The association is open to all hoof practitioners, who align their work with the thoughts and principles of natural hoofcare. Anyone who was trained and certified at the "Barhuf-Institut" or meets the affiliation criteria can become a member.
Advantages of an association membership
As a member of "Keep it natural e.V." you have the following possibilities:
- Once a year, we are organising a three day professional training event to which each member is invited. This event contains specialized lectures concerning topics identified by the community, one day NHC training by the "Barhuf-Institut", many possibilities to exchange experiences and of course, spending the evenings together building up good relationships between the members.
- The association runs a closed forum providing access only to the association's members - this way you'll always get the possibility to put all professional and other questions, place your ideas and share information.
- Access to the member area of the website where you'll find numerous offers, e.g. joint purchase by the association to focus the buying power - for example buying tools, medical needs and other utilities.
- Access to the documents and the archive - e.g. papers of former professional training events.
- Free media center attendance - the association is constantly aquiring valuable media (books, DVDs, etc.) and provides them to its members in the media center for free. This way you have access to this information without being forced to bear the costs by yourself.
- The association is also an important marketing instrument to advertise the offers of its members. This happens by multiple links to own websites and presentation of the location on a map providing the appropriate contact data.
- The membership is also a quality criterion as it shows the customers that as a member you have attended a solid schooling, passed the examination and that you are able not only to talk about NHC but also perform it in a proper way.
